UNDERWATER ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES
Connecting history with diving and technology, the Ephorate of Underwater Antiquities created the first Accessible Underwater Archaeological Sites (AUAS) in Greece, offering the opportunity for divers and non-divers to explore ancient shipwrecks and connect with underwater cultural heritage.
Forms
Search and download all necessary documents regarding the procedures and permits of the Ephorate of Underwater Antiquities service. Here you will find forms for issues such as Possession and Delivery of Antiquities, Fish Farming Permits, Metal Detection Permits as well as other related requests.
Each form is available for download and printing, so you can complete and submit it according to the instructions that accompany it. This section acts as a practical guide, facilitating access to all the necessary forms in one place.
Information for professionals (diving centers)
Diving centers operating in Accessible Underwater Archaeological Sites (AUAS) must be aware of the licensing procedures, participation in a special certification seminar for dive guides at AUAS, the management of available slots (date and time of visit), as well as the obligation to register visitor details for security and documentation reasons.
